Tokyo Shopping Guide

I have visited Japan twice now and after my most recent visit in October 2007, I put together a guide to all the shops we visited. It covers a range of crafty and cute shops for fabric, sewing supplies, washi, stationery, print Gocco, kawaii, toys and homewares.

If you’re lucky enough to be visiting Tokyo then this pocket sized A6 print version will be perfect to take along. I tell you where to find them (with proper directions), what they look like, what they sell and what the prices are like. There are also photos of the shops and a few of my purchases.

Shops/areas included: Akihabara, Aranzi Aronzo, Daiso, Itoya, Kiddyland, Lemmon, Loft, Lucky Star, Nakamise Dori, Okadaya, Sanrio Gift Gate, Sunshine City, Super Potato, Tama Depa, Tokyu Hands, Tomato and Fabric Town/Nippori.

It also includes details of my visits to the Ghibli Museum, Mori Art Museum and Rikugien Garden, plus some tips on collecting souvenir stampers.

16 pages, photocopied, black and white.

DELIVERY: If you’re in a hurry, let me know at checkout and I’ll try my best to get it in the post the same day. It usually takes 1 day to arrive in the UK, 5-14 days in Europe and 7-14 days to the rest of the world. A PDF version of the shopping guide is also now available for printing yourself.

Buy my Ten Days in Tokyo zine at the same time and save 50p!
